Fight across blood-soaked battlefields in intense sword-based action. Explore the historic Japanese capital of Kyoto in the Edo period, warped by sinister clouds of Malice.

Follow the journey of a samurai who wields the Oni Gauntlet, a mystical artifact that grants its bearer the power to exterminate Genma.

The Protagonist, Miyamoto Musashi

A passionate samurai who arrives in Kyoto seeking to prove that he is unmatched in the way of the sword. However, the path before him takes a strange and unexpected turn.

The protagonist of this game is a fierce young samurai, constantly moving from one brutal, bloody battle to the next. To solidify this striking image of a samurai, Capcom turned to none other than the legendary Japanese samurai film star, the late Toshiro Mifune, as the facial model for this version of Miyamoto Musashi.

Action

Equipped with an Oni Gauntlet, Musashi is granted a power that surpasses human limits. In addition to giving him the strength needed to strike down the Genma, it also possesses countless other abilities, such as absorbing the souls of Genma and converting them into a source of energy to further enhance its bearer. But who is behind the voice that echoes from the gauntlet?

Genma

Usually found in the deepest depths of hell, the Malice enveloping Kyoto has brought these demons into the world of the living. Their unrelenting atrocities have plunged the capital into a state of fear and panic.

Formidable Enemies

In his battle against the Genma threat, Musashi will face powerful opponents whose martial skill rivals his own. Will he triumph, or die trying? Bloody duels to the death await in the capital.

Setting

The game takes place in Kyoto, home to countless shrines and temples, such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Twisted by Malice, the face of the capital begins to take on a sinister and menacing appearance.
