Gather and equip skill and item cards on your samurais, making them even stronger as you progress. Building powerful synergies/combinations among your group's members will be essential in determining the outcome of each battle.

Recruit new samurais, unlock new classes, level up, and follow different paths of improvement to strengthen your group for each match. As the size and skills of your group increase, you will better prepare to face the dangers lurking in the depths of the Shadowlands.

Use your scouts wisely to unveil the secrets of each path and determine the best route to traverse the treacherous Shadowlands. Each path presents unique opportunities and challenges, offering better rewards or more formidable adversaries. The farther you go, the more macabre, corrupted, and enigmatic the environment becomes.

Legend of the Five Rings (L5R) is a shared universe of games set in Rokugan, a rich fantasy world inspired by the samurai films of Akira Kurosawa, and the history and folklore of Japan, China, and other Asian nations.
