Desde tiempos inmemoriales, la organización conocida como "Night Blade" ha actuado como guardianes en lo que se conoce como la "Noche Hollow". Mientras descansa de sus eternos trabajos en una ciudad no descripta, la Princesa de la Hoja de la Noche, Linne, conoce a un joven llamado Hyde, que está en posesión de la legendaria espada del destino que ha estado buscando a lo largo y ancho.

En la Noche Hueca, los monstruos llamados Vacíos se alimentan del poder que se manifiesta allí, mientras que los conocidos como Nacimientos usan ese mismo poder para sus propios fines. Mientras investiga la razón detrás del repentino aumento en el número de vacíos y nacimientos en la noche hueca, Linne escucha de una trama maligna siendo eclosionada por alguien que se llama a sí mismos "Paradoja". Esta persona resulta ser nada menos que Hilda, el líder de una organización sombría conocida como "Amnesia".
