Ivalice—a kingdom blessed by the light of the gods and ruled by the Two-Headed Lion. A year after its defeat by Ordallia in the Fifty Years' War, the king succumbed to illness, leaving only a two-year-old boy to ascend the throne.

Whoever was appointed regent would effectively govern, thus two rival candidates emerged: Dukes Goltanna and Larg, whose actions during the war earned them great renown. Goltanna, the Black Lion, and Larg, the White Lion, were destined to clash, and the ensuing conflict would become known as the War of the Lions.

Against this backdrop emerge Ramza, the third son of House Beoulve, one of Ivalice's leading military families, and his childhood companion Delita, a commoner raised among the nobles. As they strive to chart a course through this tumultuous era, a powerful current draws them ever closer to the abyss.

With over 20 Jobs – including White Mage, Black Mage, Dragoon, among many others from the FINAL FANTASY series – and hundreds of abilities to master, you have the freedom to experiment and discover the combinations that work best for your team. Chocobos and other creatures can also be tamed and join battles.

Two Versions: Enhanced and Classic

• With improved graphics, fully voiced dialogue, and refined gameplay, the enhanced version offers the ideal way to dive into the world of Ivalice. Accompanied by dedicated tweaks to numerous features and battle mechanics, the inclusion of the more accessible "Squire" difficulty mode makes this version an excellent starting point for new players.
