THE GAME

NieR:Automata tells the story of androids 2B, 9S, and A2 and their battle to reclaim a dystopia driven and dominated by powerful machines.

Humanity was expelled from Earth by mechanical beings from another world. In a final effort to reclaim the planet, the human resistance sends a force of android soldiers to destroy the invaders. Now, a war between machines and androids is waged... A war that could soon unveil a long-forgotten truth about the world.

• Frenetic Battles – Players will alternate between melee and ranged attacks in battles against hordes of enemies and challenging bosses across various open maps. The responsive controls and extremely fluid combat are easy for newcomers to pick up, yet significantly robust for more experienced action game players. Players can perform high-speed combat actions (combining weak and strong attacks) and utilize a full arsenal of weapons while dodging enemies with agility and style.
• Desolate and Stunning Open World – The game features breathtaking locations and landscapes with no loading between areas. The environments are rendered at 60 frames per second and offer various side events in addition to the main storyline.
