Death of the Reprobate 

Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day, God had finished the work He had been doing; so on the seventh day, He rested.

“Did you have a good week?” asked Mrs. God.

“No,” replied God. “I’ve just given birth to yet another world lamentably below standard. One no doubt destined to degenerate over the millennia into a violent capitalist nightmare, like all the others.”

“Never mind that,” said Mrs. God. “Chicken pie for dinner!”

Story

Immortal John is dying. As his last surviving heir, you have been summoned to hear his final wish. Will he ask you to avenge his death!? To murder all those who wronged him!!? To carry out his lifelong plan of bringing down the ruling elite from within, destroying the balance of power and ultimately saving the world!!!? Or will he simply ask you to stop being such an asshole?

Only time will tell. Or I could tell you – it’s the last one.

Death of the Reprobate is a tender story about helping people and being a good sort. Travel through a quiet little rural town - help the locals with their everyday chores. Wander through the nearby forest - make small talk with a woman submerged up to her neck in a little pond. Climb to an idyllic mountain viewpoint overlooking land, sea, and sky, the natural and the man-made, the eternal mystery held within the infinite depths of the distant horizon - help a man shoot some birds. This is a game brimming with simple, subtle pleasures...

Story

Hooray! The holy war is over! Your oppressors have been defeated, the churches of the Old God lie in ruins, and thousands of innocents have been murdered! But it’s not all good news; the tyrant Heavenly Peter slipped through your grasp, and the mission to find him has been entrusted to you...

Your journey will take you across a richly detailed landscape built from hundreds of different Renaissance paintings. You will steal a ship, feed a donkey, compete in a talent show, help an inept street magician, sing, dance, play the flute (magical?), poke a man in the face, hunt for treasure, and have a conversation with Our Lord God Almighty... But will you find Heavenly Peter? And if you do, how will you take your revenge?!

Four Last Things 

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. God saw all that He had made, and it was good. Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the gift of life, and man became a living being.

'Oops...' said God, seeing that He had created a fool. But before He could remedy His mistake, the man spoke;

'No take-backs!' he chirped, and ran off into the woods.

Story

Four Last Things is a point-and-click adventure game made from Renaissance paintings and public-domain classical music recordings. It deals with sin and the Four Last Things – Death, Judgment, Heaven, and Hell –, striving in equal measure to be intelligent and ridiculous.

It’s rather as if Monkey Island had been made in 16th-century Flanders by a future time-traveling Monty Python obsessive...

The Immortal John DLC offers a rare glimpse into the overcrowded mind of Joe Richardson, where he inexplicably decided that Renaissance paintings needed more pointing, a bit more clicking, and SIGNIFICANTLY less dignity. Witness the creative process of a man who looked at centuries of artistic mastery and thought, "Yes, but what if I added a little flatulence and fantasy?" Experience content deemed something too vaguely indefinable for the original release — whether because it was lost to time, born from poorly scribbled notes, or simply the result of a fundamental disregard for the archiving process.
