Take a journey in this modern version of Donkey Kong's home, full of nostalgic sights like DK's Treehouse, the Evil Ship, and other iconic places. Capture in-game photos with friends you know well, such as Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Cranky Kong, Rambi, and Squawk; and decorate DK Island with exclusive statues for the extra content you can obtain with Banana Tokens. You might even discover hidden bonus stages along the minecart tracks and jungle ruins!
To take a peek at DK Island*, just talk to Squawk after reaching the Circuit layer. Once you complete the game, you can visit DK Island and your own layer to decorate it with character statues.
Push your skills to the limit with the fast-paced challenges of Emerald Hunt
Face timed challenges that can be repeated and grow increasingly difficult in Emerald Hunt, a gameplay mode quite different from the base game. Start from scratch and rebuild all of DK's power and skills as you progress through various challenges on DK Island and in several layers of the Underground World. Collect emerald ore to earn exclusive in-game rewards and perks!
To access this extra content* and start the Emerald Hunt, talk to one of the Kong Ancestors and then go to the Teleport Gong after completing the main story.
